Games can be a way to entertain yourself when you're bored or have time to kill, but they can also inspire and influence you, in ways that books, television, online videos or other media are not capable. When I say this, I speak from my own experience. I became a video game developer thanks to games that inspired me. "The best games always find a way to show us something new, and that's exactly what we wanted to do with Lord of Heroes. Rather than step into the shoes of an unassuming hero who must save the world, we decided to give players the role of a monarch who will revolutionize a fallen world." When designing our characters, we wanted to avoid making them too violent or sexualizing them, emphasizing their diversity and individuality. Regarding the gameplay, we worked in a way that players can progress without having to spend too much time playing. Some people may not like that the game doesn't have suggestive or violent content, or that it doesn't require their full attention. But we hope that you can tell your family and friends about this game, and that it will become part of your everyday life in a natural way, without being an obstacle.
